As specialist Fire Safety Consultants, ACT Fire Consultancy have been asked to provide a talk in Glasgow Chamber of Commerce as part of the Chamber ‘How to’ sessions delivered by specialists in subjects essential to not only businesses that are members of the Chamber but also Interested and affected businesses in Glasgow and across Scotland that are non members.
It has always been essential for businesses to ensure compliance with Fire Safety Regulations as a minimum for the safety of staff, customers and visitors in their place of work. Many businesses are uncertain of exactly what is currently required and have not taken sufficient measures to comply with legislation. Recent events have given a stark context to this discussion.
If you are an employer, owner, landlord, have a tenancy in a business or non domestic premises or are in control of a premises such as a facilities/building manager or managing agent you have responsibility for Fire Safety and must be aware of your responsibilities.
This session will explain clearly and constructively, looking past prescriptive regulatory requirements to explain how to undertake appropriate preventative and protective measures to ensure compliance and emergency preparedness for your business.
Click here* if you would like to book a place on the 2 hour session on Tuesday the 25th October which begins at 08:00.
